For these album covers, I used only Adobe Illustrator. The use of primary colors make the covers pop out. I also added and created my own font in the line art album cover to match the theme of the line art.
This project was created in collaboration with musician Evan Wright for his album, The Upper Room. Following feedback from two Zoom meetings, I developed a warm color palette of yellows, oranges, and reds while incorporating minimalist one-line illustrations. Inspired by Wright's vision of movement, music, and voices, I used abstract circular forms reminiscent of sound waves, ripples, speaker vibrations, and vinyl record grooves. The following images showcase the final selected cover along with the concepts, typography, and design explorations that led to the finished album artwork.
